911 Coordinator
Bryce has served as the 911 Coordinator and Assistant Emergency Manager for Mackinac County for seventeen years. He is currently President of the Michigan Communication Directors Association (MCDA), appointed by the Governor on his third term, and is the Chairman of the Michigan Public Safety Communications Interoperability Board. Vice-Chairman of the local LEPC, Member of the Upper Peninsula Region 8 Homeland Security Planning Board, Member of the SNC Legislative Action Sub-Committee. Bryce also represents Michigan on the FEMA Region 5 Regional Emergency Communications Coordination Working Group (RECCWG)
Bryce is also active in various other Emergency Management and Fire Service organizations. Bryce is certified as a Communications COML/COMT and is serving over 30 years now, as a Firefighter, Fire Officer, and Hazardous Materials Technician. He is also been active for over 24 years as a Michigan Bureau of Fire Services Fire Instructor.
